Be smart, play smart, learn how to play casino craps the right way!
Any Craps is a one-roll bet that wins if a craps (i.e., 2, 3, or 12) shows on the next roll, and loses if any other number shows. The minimum bet amount is the value of the lowest-denomination chip in play, usually $1. The payoff is 7:1, so you can bet any amount to get the full payoff odds.
The Any Craps box is located in the center of the table and typically controlled by the stickman, so keep your hands off. When you have the stickman’s attention, gently toss your chips to an open area near the center of the table and say, “Any Craps, please.” Aim for an empty spot so your chip doesn’t mess up other chips on the table.
Depending on the casino, the layout may have a box in the proposition area (i.e., center of the table) labeled “Any Craps,” or 16 small circles next to the proposition area, each containing the letter “C,” or both. The dealer places your Any Craps bet either in the box or in one of the little “C” circles. You might think, “Why are there 16 little Any Craps circles but only one Any Craps box?” Good question, but like everything else in craps, the answer is easy. The Any Craps box is big enough to hold all bets if everyone at the table makes the bet at the same time, but the little “C” circles are only big enough to hold one bet. Eight players can play on each side of the table. So, there are eight circles for eight players on each side of the table. If the casino’s layout uses little circles instead of an Any Craps box, the dealer places your Any Craps bet in the little circle that corresponds to your table position.
The Any Craps bet is sometimes called “Crap Check” when it’s used to hedge the Flat Pass Line bet. For example, if a player makes a Flat $10 Pass Line bet, he might toss in a $1 chip for a Crap Check to “protect” the Pass Line bet on the come-out roll. On the come-out, if the shooter rolls a craps, the player loses his $10 Flat Pass Line bet, but wins $7 for his Crap Check.
Now you know! Remember, learn how to play casino craps the right way.

It’s funny reading some of these comments. Some of you are talking about statistics and other are talking probability. Statistically if a 7 hasn’t come out in 500 rolls it’s bound to come out soon. But probability-wise it could still not come out in another 500 rolls because every roll you only have 1:6 chance.

No skil in CRAPS, ROULETTE, or SLOTS. Just chance and lady luck. She is very good to me when playing Roulette at the Stratosphere though.

No, someone who has won nicely at Craps because they don’t believe in the easter Bunny and understand what independent events are. You’re obviously a high-school drop-out who lives in a shelter.

“Hot” table? The dice have a built-in thermometer?
Oh yeah, if you’re stupid enough to believe in hot and cold tables, you’re stupid enough to think the dice remember their last roll.

I always play big red when the dice go off the table. I found that 7 usually shows up after that.

i dont believe in hot or cold tables. although i was on a cruise ship plaaying craps for the first time in my life when i was only 21. i came with 300 dollars and won 9 thousand over 12 days betting on 6, 8, and 9. this guy would roll for 30 min before getting a 7, and everyone was saying press your bet and i was like what the hell is that but okay and i kept winning so much. i never forget he said it was the night of the nines. that was fun. just dumb luck i think no skill or “hot”

Same with cards. I’ve seen “Banker” hit over twenty times straight in Baccarat. Anyways, thanks for the very helpful videos. I’ll try my luck in craps next week in Vegas.

Your table is paying “actual odds” for hard ways, and any craps/bid red bets. Real casinos don’t pay those odds.

Obviously someone who has not played the game. If you ever get a chance to actually go to a casino and watch a craps game you will be amazed at the “brains” the dice do have sometimes.

Do you throw salt over your shoulder and walk around black cats? NEWS FLASH: each roll of the dice is an independent event. The only “hot” tables are ones that have liquored-up blonds looking for somebody who is not a professional gambler/cab driver.

The hardways are a bad bet, but this “expert” says that they’re OK if the table is “hot.” I guess the dice have brains and remember what they did on the last roll. There’s no such thing as “hot” or “cold” with dice, unless you believe in the Easter Bunny and crystals.

i was just watching a flipping game a couple guys at work were doing. i wanted to get in on it and wouldof start betting on heads after the 6th heads roll, and i would have kept going till it went tails.
i believe they flipped heads 16 times, each time betting tails totally sure that heads would not come up again.

Odds don’t have any juice for the house. Place bets all have very little vig — especially the 6 and 8. He’s pointing out the WORST odds.

that table has better payouts than the ones do up here in canada. the big red or 7 pays only 4 to 1 when the chance of 7 hitting are 1 in 6 and the hard ways, 9 to 1 for hard 6 and 8 and 7 to 1 for hard 10 and 4 and there is no big 6 or 8.

The best odds are playing the pass line and odds on the pass line. Everything else the odds are not so good.
