Blackjack is an extremely popular game and for good reasons. First of all it is extremely easy to play. Then, since it is based on skill, you are the one that influences the outcome of the game. With the aid of basic blackjack strategy you can lower the house edge to about 1%. No other casino game offers such a low house edge. Take the roulette wheel for example. It offers a house advantage of 5%.

I have taken the time to put together a few blackjack tips that you should keep in mind whenever you play blackjack online or in a land based casino. The order in which these blackjack tips are presented is of no importance. What is important is for you to read and understand them and improve your gambling skills.

Learn the rules of the game.

There are countless online gambling sites that present all the blackjack rules in a comprehensive and detailed manner. You cannot possibly expect to be a good blackjack player if you do not know the rules. At least learn the basic rules that apply to all blackjack variations. In case you were wondering, there are several types of blackjack games: blackjack switch, multi-hand blackjack, Atlantic City blackjack, double exposure blackjack, European blackjack, high limit blackjack, Spanish blackjack, and so on. If you know the basic blackjack rules you should pick up on the rule variations easily.

The true goal of playing online blackjack or casino blackjack is to beat the dealer.

Forget that nonsense about getting a 21. You do not have to keep hitting until you get a 21. Just hit until you have a card total that is good enough to beat the dealer. If you get a natural blackjack, congratulations. But not even that will guarantee that you will win. If the dealer also has a natural blackjack the game will be pushed. But you could very well win with a card total of 14 if the dealer busts.

Do not play with your gut – use a basic strategy card instead.

The best way to increase your chances of winning is to use basic strategy. Sometimes you will get a gut feeling that you should hit even if the basic strategy card advises you to stand. What you probably do not know is that playing by gut feeling alone gives the house an edge of 6%. But when you use basic strategy the house edge is reduced to 1%. So keep one on you at all times and consult it if necessary.

Choose your gambling environment carefully.

The main difference between casino blackjack and online blackjack is the environment. Land based casinos are noisy, crowded and extremely distracting. If you are struggling to keep focused maybe you should turn to playing online blackjack. Playing blackjack in a reputable online casino can prove to be a lot more lucrative than playing in a land based casino. Not only do you get to play from the comfort of your own home, but online casinos also offer great free blackjack games and fantastic sign-up bonuses. Now tell me what land based casino lets you play for free or lets you play with their money. Beginner blackjack players are well advised to make good use of these free casino games and improve their blackjack skills.

Proper money management.

First of all you should sit down, take a calculator and figure out how much money you can afford to spend on internet blackjack or casino blackjack. Budget your money carefully and never spend more than you can afford to lose. If you have spent all the money that you had set up for a blackjack session then walk away. Do not dip into other funds in hopes that you will win. Winning is never a guarantee, even if you lower the house edge to a minimum. Playing smart is the best option.

Always tip the dealer.

Casino dealers are not unionized and are not paid very well. They do not care if you win or lose. It’s not like they are playing with their own money. Do not annoy the dealer as they can make it harder for you to win. Always remember to tip.

Hopefully the blackjack tips presented above will improve your game. Remember that blackjack is a game if skill and that the outcome of the game is in your hands. Your skill determines if you will walk away with a profit or if you will lose. Being a bit lucky never hurts either.

Why are they hiding the cards? I’ve played this in 5 different countries and never seen that, its a waste of time it looks like to me, and you are supposed to be playing as a team in a sense to beat the dealer, if you knew the guy to your left has a 5 and a 6, you are more inclined not to hit and bust on your shitty 14 or 15 and he might get the 10.

Because they’re crazy and superstitious. Dealers are not the most skeptical group. They believe that a bad player in 3rd base will cause other players to lose and a bunch of other myths.

What about card counting? The MIT Blackjack Team did it by card counting (NOT cheating).

There are certain strategies you can follow, just by using statistics. For example, if the dealer shows a 6 and you have 12, it is better to stand because the dealer will bust about 40% of the time. There is no strategy, however, to raise your chances of winning to over 50%.

no, theyre awesome, but bare in mind, the more money he makes the house, more chance it’ll be open, so more chance he’ll keep his job for longer. + more chance of bonus’s.

No, you can only win with 13 +. If dealer deals me a 4 and a 8, i got 12. I stand. Dealer has 2 and 4, he hits gets 3, hits again gets another 3. It’s a stand, where you get your money back. Say the dealer had a 2 as his last card, it’s 11. The dealer would hit, and its inpossible for him to lose. The only 2 options are a players loss, or stand.

    @molpr

    Indeed
A really nice movie about Blackjack is 21
I’ve seen it and it’s really exciting cuz a group of students are counting (playing false in Blackjack) with a teacher. Then the sees the count, and have a problem.

    REALLY GOOD MOVIE!

And this was a good tutorial thanks. After seeing 21 I wanted to plasy Blackjack too, know I know how somebit. Thx

Now the player can’t touch the cards and all players cards are face up.

Blackjack is simple, but too many people think you have to get close to 21. False. You have to beat the dealer, so you can actualy win if you have 12.

The Blackjack2 does NOT have WiFi .. I am unaware of how you could accomplish this. I have not seen any built in settings on the Blackjack2 that would allow you to do this.

    Hello,
The best way to unlock your GSM phone is using an unlock code. I have a cellphone store and the fastest way to unlock a phone without loosing any data is to use an unlock code.
Every phone has its own unique unlock code that is calculated using your phone's IMEI number.

The cheapest and most reliable site I know (which I also personally use) is called:

    http://www.unlock2go.com

Be careful as there are a lot of frauds on the internet that sell you fake unlock codes, so you have to know where to buy them. I suggest you use this site. :-)

    Good Luck!!!

I'd take 10x-20x the minimum bet (provided this is within your budget). Assume you're going to play and walk away with nothing. If you come out ahead, great.

So, on a $5 table, sit down with $50-100. This will get you a minimum of ten hands (not counting doubles and splits). If you lose ten straight, it's probably not worth it to try and play any more. More than likely, it'll be an up-and-down battle. At a $1 table, $20-$25 should get you some decent playing time.

It's something that I'm not familiar with at this time but I've heard of gambling definitely coming to your television screen. I'm not sure where you live but I know in the united states i don't see htis happening because they are trying to put online poker on lock down because they are sick of credit companies taking hits of people maxing their cards and than filing bankruptcy or asking for some debt relief.
The home tv screen gambling souds European to me, i can definitely see that going on over there.
